MAGELLAN 1500I
The Magellan 1500i omnidirectional presentation scanner is a versatile and stylish addition to any point of sale. With Datalogic’s latest digital imaging technology, it seamlessly decodes both 1D and 2D bar codes on everything from printed product labels to mobile coupons, loyalty cards, tickets and boarding passes. The recessed, adaptive illumination optimizes light levels for both superior operator comfort and high performance sweep and presentation scanning.

MAGELLAN 3550HSi
The Magellan™ 3550HSi series of scanners continue the Datalogic tradition of high performance imaging for the high-volume point-of-sale. By duplicating the speed and large field-of-view of laser scanners and expanding the capabilities of imaging, the 3550HSi scanners provide outstanding performance on hard-to-read bar codes and seamless reading of a wide variety of bar codes. This Magellan scanner enables both high speed sweep and presentation scanning techniques ensuring maximum productivity and ergonomic ease, even with truncated (shortened), out-of-spec or poorly printed codes
Magellan 9800i
The Magellan 9800i scanner/scale defines a new class of high performance bar code scanners for a worldwide market. With digital imagers in all planes, the 9800i scanner is the first scanner capable of reading both 1D and 2D bar codes seamlessly without requiring item orientation by the cashier.
The striking new design improves ergonomics with its lower bonnet height to allow repositioning of POS or self check-out touchscreens, payment terminals and receipt printers to better accommodate ADA customers. The centered speaker provides audio feedback with .wav files for greater fidelity. The large horizontal window is ergonomically positioned for both standing and seated cashiers

The Magellan 1500i is designed with ease of use in mind. The cable is efficiently routed away from the unit to ensure it never gets in your way. The clean lines and choice of colors in either black or white promote an uncluttered look to your workspace. The scanner operates in two modes: Stand Mode for when you require hands-free usage or Presentation Mode scanning for handheld use when an operator picks up the scanner. Stand mode enables high-speed sweep operation of up to 1.5 m/s; and handheld mode is automatically activated via the built-in accelerometer and provides targeted scanning with Datalogic’s Green Spot Technology with good-read feedback. Whichever way you choose to use it, you can count on easy scanning of your products and increased productivity.

Datalogic has equipped the Magellan 1500i with adaptive illumination. This eliminates flicker and reduces brightness when not required, reducing any potential eye strain for your operators. The illumination will automatically adjust and optimize to the barcodes in the field of view. No need for any adjustment when seamlessly moving between printed and mobile barcode scanning. The 100% LED lighting is much safer and more reliable than laser-based scanning. The mixture of near-infrared and deep red lighting ensures both comfort and class-leading performance. With a robust IP52 rated enclosure that supports multiple drops of up to 1.2 m on concrete, you can get many thousands of hours of performance when you need it. What’s more, the many mounting options, including a magnetic mount and wall mount make it easy to position or quickly switch between fixed or handheld scanning.
