RICOH Launches New Compact Document Scanners: SP-2240N & SP-2230N

The SP-2240N delivers scanning speeds of up to 40 ppm, while the SP-2230N scans up to 30 ppm.

The new scanners redefine convenience, bringing one-click simplicity to everyday document digitization. With the enhanced PaperStream ClickScan software, users can digitize documents instantly by selecting “Scan” from a right-click menu -scanning and saving files immediately-with easy pre-setting. Alongside this option, users can also scan documents with a single press of the scanner’s on-device button, making both PC-based and on-device digitization faster and more intuitive than ever.

4. The new iiGA powers flexible PC-less scanning in shared, multi-user workplace

Powered by the new iiGA next-generation SoC (System on a Chip), the DirectScan function(2)(3) has been enhanced to deliver faster, more intuitive PC-free scanning directly from the device—without compromising performance. Even in shared office environments, iiGA maintains high scanning speeds while supporting advanced image processing, including automatic image orientation.
Destinations such as save locations or email recipients can be assigned to the scanner’s three on-device buttons, enabling convenient one-touch workflows. Scanned files can also be attached to emails immediately, helping teams digitize and share documents faster with fewer manual steps.
