Maintenance and Support
The benefits of having a valid maintenance and support include:
Lapsed Maintenance & Support
3 years after the Maintenance & Support subscription has ended, the customer’s license will no longer be eligible for renewal and upgrade. The perpetual license will never expire, but in order to access the latest version of SketchUp Pro, the customer will have to purchase an entirely new, full-cost license.
In the event that an end user want to “downgrade” their SketchUp Pro license to an older version (perhaps for hardware reasons), you will need to maintain an active Maintenance and Support contract in order to upgrade back up to the latest version. If the Maintenance & Support contract expires, the customer will need to reinstate his or her contract to obtain an updated license.
